Signing up or Logging in to WxPortal |
| If
you have active scripting
turned off in your browser security settings the sign-up page
does not work, nor will the "userLogin" button work.
Read the following to see how to fix this issue: |

| How
can you tell if you have a problem? |
| 1)
If you put your cursor over the "userLogin" buton
and the button text does not light up bright yellow, you have
a problem and the button will be inactive (nothing happens
when you click it). Scroll down to read how to fix it. |
|

2) The
scripting problem is also evident when your sign-up page
looks like this (Note that the
fields for "Your Name" and "Your Login Name"
are NOT shown):

| How
to fix the active scripting problem: |
| 1)
Open Internet Explorer. It does not matter if you are viewing
a website or not. |
|
| 2)
Select the "Tools" menu, then choose the "Internet
Options" sub-menu. |
|
|
|
| 3)
The Internet Options dialog box will open. Choose the "Security"
tab as shown below (your screen may look slightly different
depending on what settings you currently have). |
|

|
| 4)
Click on the "Custom Level..." button. The Security
Settings dialog box will open as shown below. Scroll down
until you find the "Scripting" settings as shown
below. |
|

|
| 5)
Select "Enable" under Active scripting. Then click
OK to close this dialog box. Now Click OK again to close the
previous dialog box. |
|
| 6)
Close all Internet Explorer windows that you may have open.
Restart Internet Explorer and go to http://www.wxportal.com/
to try signing up or logging in again. |
